We were thrilled to be asked by the fabulously stylish visionary, Belma Gaudio, to work on the opening of her luxury concept store, Koibird, which also happens to be the most sensational boutique in London. Completely reinventing interiors and exteriors every season, it's a destination store which never ceases to entice and amaze. We swung into action with just three weeks to produce print and packaging for the opening. With nothing to go on other than a basic logo, concepts were literally drawn and approved over our first coffee.

Anna Burns’s eye-popping maximalist shopfit was echoed in die-cut oversize swing tags, postcards, business cards and a bundle of stickers. Italic typography was kerned to a fraction of a millimetre then foiled in wild magenta onto Gmund Action's Pastel Heart Attack paper. Cool, distinctive, sassy and delivered right on time. All credit to Nicole at Picnic Productions — it was one of the very best openings we’ve ever seen.
